Mimir — five planes, one map

The service / component architecture: how the planes connect, and how a client can take one module or a group. All domain-agnostic.

Platform planes (built once) Shared engine services Cross-cutting (spans all) · dashed = added by the back-test · hover a component for its definition
1 · Edge / DeliveryHow any product reaches the world.

2 · CaseThe system of record.
Case Service Evidence Store Signal Model Entity / Link Graph
raw evidence → each stage writes typed Signals onto the case
3 · Intelligence EngineThe capability services — the modules.
Capture Extract Vision Verify Detect Estimate Decide
Signals → a decision · the Orchestration layer decides the order
4 · OrchestrationRuns the steps over a case.

5 · Cross-cuttingAlways on, spans every plane.
Identity / Tenancy Entitlements Audit Log Metering Review + Feedback Eval / Model Registry Compliance
Entitlements is the switch that lets a client light up one module or many ↓

How clients consume it — one module, or a group

A product is assembled, not forked. Entitlements decide which capability services a client can call; the pack decides how they behave for the domain. Same engine underneath every row.

Product = Pack (domain config) + Entitlements (which modules) + Surface (branding & UI)
A · Verification only
Used-car ownership / RC check. A single module, called directly.
CaptureExtractVision VerifyDetectEstimateDecide
Typically sync — one lookup, answer inline.
B · Document extraction SaaS
Developers send documents, get structured JSON back. A small group.
CaptureExtractVision VerifyDetectEstimateDecide
sync for a single doc · async for batches.
C · Repair estimate from photos
Capture → damage → cost. A composed group, no fraud/decision needed.
CaptureExtractVision VerifyDetectEstimateDecide
async — a short pipeline per case.
D · Whole claim (insurer)
The full stack — every module, fused checks, auto-clear vs route-to-human.
CaptureExtractVision VerifyDetectEstimateDecide
async with human-in-the-loop · priority-classed.

Mimir · the Modules intelligence engine — service/component architecture. The middle planes never change between clients A–D; only the pack and the lit modules do.
